Reading Draft Root Beer

Only a little bit of head when poured. There is a very noticeable butterscotch scent to this brew. The color of this root beer is a dark molasses color. The body starts with a classic root beer taste and has a strong, but pleasant butterscotch finish. This root beer is mildly carbonated and has only a little bit of aftertaste. Score 3.5/4


Maine Root Root Beer

A great head! The root beer has a light wintergreen smell to it. The color is a light, caramely color. The body is creamy, has a nice vanilla taste, and predominantly tastes like wintergreen. There is virtually no aftertaste with this brew and is mildly carbonated. Score: 4/5

Abita Rootbeer

Overall, Abita Root Beer is a great brew. When poured, a slight head can be seen. The aroma is of licorice and anise. When held to the light, the root beer is an auburn color. The body has a light licorice taste, a miniscule vanilla taste, and slight, but noticeable honey taste. There is a minute licorice aftertaste. This body is mildly carbonation to this root beer.
